Supply Chain Manager – Procurement

Hefny Pharma Group (HPG) is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager – Procurement to manage and lead our Local & Foreign Procurement activities and ensure the continuous and cost-effective supply of materials. Key Responsibilities: - Manage Local & Foreign Procurement activities and ensure an effective procurement process. - Develop and implement procurement strategies in line with business requirements. - Manage the full procurement cycle, including sourcing, supplier selection, negotiation, purchasing, and delivery. - Identify, evaluate, qualify, and develop local and international suppliers. - Negotiate prices, payment terms, contracts, lead times, and other commercial terms. - Ensure the availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and other required supplies to support operations. - Follow up on importation, international purchasing, shipments, and delivery schedules. - Monitor supplier performance, quality, delivery, and compliance. - Coordinate with Planning, Production, Warehouse, Quality, Finance, and other relevant departments. - Analyze procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement. - Monitor procurement KPIs, reports, purchase orders, and supplier performance. - Lead and develop the procurement team and ensure an efficient workflow. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Science, or a related field. - 15+ years of relevant experience in Procurement/Supply Chain, preferably within the Pharmaceutical Industry. - Proven experience in both Local & Foreign Procurement. - Experience in sourcing, supplier management, negotiation, and contract management. - Good knowledge of importation and international purchasing processes. - Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Very good command of English. - Good knowledge of ERP systems; SAP experience is preferred.
