Supply Chain Planner (Medicine Manufacturing)

Industry: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Location: UAE Employment Type: Full-Time Role Purpose We are seeking a proactive Supply Chain Planner to ensure uninterrupted product availability through effective demand, production, material and inventory planning. The role will work closely with Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Warehouse and Commercial teams within a GMP-regulated environment. Key Responsibilities - Develop rolling production and supply plans based on demand forecasts, confirmed orders, inventory levels and manufacturing capacity. - Execute MRP planning for raw materials, packaging materials and semi-finished goods. - Monitor material availability and proactively resolve supply constraints, shortages and capacity risks. - Coordinate production schedules with Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement and Warehouse teams. - Optimize inventory levels while controlling ageing, slow-moving, near-expiry and excess stock. - Manage sales orders, backorders and order fulfilment through SAP/ERP. - Monitor OTIF delivery, forecast accuracy, inventory value, months of coverage and supply-chain KPIs. - Prepare monthly planning, inventory and supply-risk reports for management review. - Ensure compliance with EHS, import/export and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Pharmacy, Business Administration or related field. - 5–7 years of experience in supply planning, production planning or demand planning. - Pharmaceutical, FMCG, chemical or other regulated manufacturing experience is preferred. - Strong hands-on experience in MRP, SAP/ERP, inventory analysis and production scheduling. - APICS CPIM/CSCP certification will be an advantage. - Strong analytical, communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
