Job description

Support tax compliance and tax accounting activities across entities within the Sadia Halal structure. Prepare, review, and coordinate the submission of Corporate Income Tax, Zakat, VAT, Withholding Tax, and other applicable tax filings across multiple jurisdictions. Manage tax refund and tax credit offset processes, ensuring timely follow-up and compliance with local regulations. Support monthly and year-end tax accounting activities, including tax provisions, liabilities, deferred tax assets, and reconciliations of tax-related general ledger accounts. Partner closely with Accounting and Finance teams to ensure the accuracy of tax reporting and compliance requirements. Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and coordinating required information. Bachelor's degree in Law, Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline. 2-5 years of experience in a tax function within a multinational company, consulting firm, or advisory environment. Strong understanding of GCC tax regulations, including Zakat, Corporate Income Tax, VAT, and Withholding Tax. Knowledge of IFRS accounting principles, financial statements, and tax reporting requirements. Experience with tax authorities' portals and ERP systems; SAP experience is preferred. Fluency in both English and Arabic, written and spoken.
