Job description

The Manager of Tax Services | Data & Digital is responsible for accelerating the digitalization of Al-Futtaim Group's Tax Operations by managing the tax data agenda and implementing data-driven and AI-enabled solutions. The role enhances tax compliance and reporting accuracy, reduces manual effort, and supports adherence to UAE and regional tax regulations. Own the end-to-end tax data set used for VAT, Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing and e-invoicing across AFG entities, from SAP source to submission-ready output. Build and maintain data extraction, mapping, and transformation routines to produce clean, auditable tax data. Design and run automated data quality and exception checks. Identify and prioritize automation and AI use cases across Tax Operations. Develop, test, and deploy solutions using Python, Power Platform, RPA, and approved AI/agent tooling. Support the UAE e-invoicing program from a data and integration perspective. Required Skills: Hands-on development experience with Python, JavaScript or equivalent for data processing, automation, or AI solutions. Strong data engineering and analysis skills, including advanced Excel/Power Query, data extraction, and SQL. Experience building AI/ML or generative-AI solutions. Knowledge of finance and accounting fundamentals, tax concepts, and project delivery methodologies. Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related discipline. 4-7 years' experience delivering data, automation, or AI solutions.
