Technical Service Manager (TSM) – SAP Migration Programs

We are currently looking for an experienced Technical Service Manager to support a major SAP transformation and migration program in Germany. This is a contract/project-based opportunity for a senior SAP professional who can combine strong technical understanding with service delivery, migration governance, stakeholder management, and cutover leadership. Key Responsibilities: - Lead migration readiness and operational planning activities - Coordinate SAP migration, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities - Manage technical risks, dependencies, incidents, and escalations - Drive service transition from project phase into steady-state operations - Govern Incident, Problem, Change, SLA, and service improvement processes - Coordinate SAP, Basis, cloud, infrastructure, security, and application teams - Lead customer-facing governance and executive/operational service reviews - Ensure monitoring, backup, DR, security, and operational readiness before go-live Required Experience: - 8–15 years of relevant SAP experience - Strong SAP Basis / technical infrastructure background - Experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA - Strong exposure to SAP migration/transformation programs - Cutover, go-live, hypercare, and operational transition experience - Good understanding of SAP HANA, Solution Manager, Cloud ALM, RISE/ECS - Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP environments - Strong ITIL / Incident / Problem / Change Management knowledge - Experience managing customer stakeholders, vendors, SLAs, and escalations - Excellent German communication skills, ideally B2/C1+ - Strong English communication skills Preferred Certifications: ITIL, SAP, AWS/Azure/GCP, PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Location: Germany Engagement: Contract / Project-based Working Model: Onsite / Hybrid / Remote depending on project requirements
